Irkutskenergo presents the city of Irkutsk with a new kindergarten

On December 29, 2015, PJSC Irkutskenergo completed the construction of the Omulyonok kindergarten. After ownership of the kindergarten is transferred to the administration of Irkutsk, the department of education of the city will start allocating places in the preschool.

The building of the new kindergarten in the courtyard of house No. 30 on Marshala Zhukova Avenue has been specially designed; it can accommodate 150 children. The building has an original layout; it has a music room, computer classrooms and a swimming pool. There will be eight groups for children in the kindergarten, including a day care group for infants. The site for the two-story building has been selected taking into account insolation requirements; the building has a heating system combining conventional radiators and underfloor heating. The surrounding territory includes ample green spaces where children can have a walk. The power company has invested over RUB 250 mln in the project.

Vyacheslav Solomin, CEO of JSC EuroSibEnergo: "Care for the younger generation in all operating regions of JSC EuroSibEnergo is a priority of our social policy. Irkutsk has been presented with a beautiful modern kindergarten providing a perfect environment for children to be raised in. This is not only our contribution to the development of the region but also an investment in the future of our company: when these children grow up, they might take a job in the company."

Oleg Prichko, CEO of PJSC Irkutskenergo: "Irkutskenergo has been really happy to make this present: a well-lit, modern kindergarten. We believe that a kindergarten within walking distance is one of the factors making life in the city more comfortable, and implementation of this project is an example of successful public-private partnership."
