Heating season ends at enterprises of OJSC EuroSibEnergo

 

EuroSibEnergo Group has successfully completed its work during the 2014-2015 autumn and winter period characterized by maximum loads. During the heating season, the enterprises operated in the normal mode. Employees of the companies ensured reliable and uninterrupted energy supply to consumers in all of the Group's operating regions. Smooth operation during the autumn and winter period was made possible through serious efforts aimed at implementing large-scale repair and investment programs.

Under applicable Russian legislation, HPPs of OJSC EuroSibEnergo strictly complied with instructions of the Yenisei Basin Water Directorate and the United Dispatch Control Center of
Siberian Power Systems in terms of drawdown of accumulated water resources and electricity output. Regulatory bodies have no complaints against the energy company.

Currently, enterprises of OJSC EuroSibEnergo have started implementing the summer repair program.

For instance, the summer repair program of OJSC Irkutstenergo includes hydraulic testing of pipelines, running and major repairs of heating networks, pumping equipment, automation systems and special equipment. The company is to carry out repairs to 51 boiler units, 18 turbine units, 8 hydroelectric units and heating networks, with financing totaling about RUB 5 bln.

Sayanogorsk Heating Networks, a subsidiary of CJSC Baikalenergo, operated in the normal mode during the heating season. Minor defects in heating networks were promptly remedied. At present, the company has started preparing for the 2015-2016 heating season: it has started to carry out preventive maintenance of equipment, inspections and repairs of boiler equipment; the company is building up the stockpile of necessary fuel and materials and repairing defects in heating networks following hydraulic testing.

In 2014, PJSC Krasnoyarsk HPP put hydroelectric unit No. 11 into operation following its upgrade; thus, the company has completed upgrades of hydroelectric units (12 hydroelectric units with a capacity of 500 MW each). The company continues to overhaul 500 kV outdoor switchgears; the overhaul is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2015. In 2015, PJSC Krasnoyarsk HPP will spend over RUB 296 mln on its repair program.

At the Avtozavodskaya CHPP, the company plans to carry out major repairs to three energy boilers, two water-heating boilers and one turbine generator. The company plans to replace a steam transfer pipe at CHPP-2 and coupling transformer No. 5 as part of its investment program. The total cost of a set of measures aimed at repairing major equipment is estimated at RUB 201 mln. This year, Generatsiya Tepla (a company specializing in heat generation at 17 gas-fueled boiler houses situated in the Avtozavodsky and Leninsky Districts of Nizhny Novgorod) plans to allocate RUB 5.384 mln for a set of measures aimed at repairing major equipment. The summer repair program will include major repairs of boilers, heating networks in the Mostootryad District and in Monchegorskaya Street, as well as running repairs of heating networks and boiler equipment.

At OJSC EnSer, preventive maintenance and repairs will be carried out to main and auxiliary equipment of CHPPs, including turbines and pumping equipment, water-heating and energy boilers and heating networks. Overall, the company plans to allocate over RUB 56 mln for maintenance and repairs of existing capacities. In addition, this year, the company plans to implement 12 investment projects worth a total of RUB 67 mln.

Furthermore, OJSC Irkutsk Electronetwork Company plans to carry out repairs to over 9,800 km of power lines and 2,600 transformer substations as part of its efforts to improve the quality and reliability of power supply. Overall, in 2015, IENC plans to allocate over RUB 523 mln for its repair program.

Measures related to repairing and upgrading equipment to be implemented at enterprises forming part of EuroSibEnergo Group will help to ensure reliable energy supply to consumers during the 2015-2016 heating season.
